36 weeks & 6 days (8 months) pregnant- off to a party! When I got this dress is was huge - not any more!Well, my last day at work was yesterday. I am looking forward to sleeping more and having the energy to sort out a few things in preparation for our baby arriving. My work friends gave us really generous presents which I wasn't expecting and I am really touched. One knitted a lovely baby jacket and hat and others gave us vouchers for a local pram & baby centre (will come in handy for all those last minute things we've still to get).
It's Real Nappy Week this week and I have been making the most of various special offers to stock up on some cloth nappies. As long as the baby is at least 8 lbs then they should all fit immediately and looking at the rate my bump is expanding I don't think that will be a problem! Cloth nappies have advanced a LOT since I was a baby in a pinned terry fold! You can buy them as all-in-one nappies, ones that adjust in size to fit from birth to toddler, soft fluffy bamboo or cotton inners with velcro/poppers that then have a waterprooof cover...... In fact there are so many different types that it took me weeks to get my head around what was available and decide what to buy!

37 weeks & 3 days (roughly 8.5 months) pregnant
I am full-term now since 37-42 weeks is considered term which means our baby could arrive at any time in the next 4 weeks. I am hoping for a couple of weeks before that happens since I've just finished work! We keep wondering what baby will look like and who he'll take after - will he have blue eyes and fair hair, or dark eyes and hair? Will he have the France family ears, or the Flores family nose? It's still hard to imagine that the wiggling, squirming being in my belly will soon be out and with us and is actually a real baby!
